There are different types of powers in this world. There is the political power, spiritual power, demonic power, traditional power, to mention but a few. The interesting thing about power is that they are not equal. People tend to desire more power with the intention of getting to the highest level. The reason is that, the more power you can acquire, the more things you can get done.

Jesus tells us categorically in Mathew 28:18b that “All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.” The word “all” tells us that every power belongs to Jesus. The word “given” tell us that all these powers are subject to Him (Jesus Christ).

When Jesus was physically on earth, he demonstrated this. He raised the dead to show that He has power over the dead. He calmed the storms and worked on the sea to show that he has power over nature. He healed different types of sicknesses to show that He has power over all diseases – however old or whatever degree it must have attained in you. He multiplied food to feed the hungry to show that He has power over hunger. He healed mad people and cast out demons to show that no demon can withstand Him. He forgave sins committed by people to show that He has power to forgive sins. He brought peace to those with troubled hearts to show that He is the Prince of Peace, etc.

Today, many people are looking for power. The unfortunate thing is that several are looking for power in wrong places. Some have sacrificed their loved ones like children, spouses, parents etc. in search of power. Today, I want you to know that the only place you can get genuine power is in Jesus Christ. Once you surrender your life to Him, and He saves your soul, then you have access to genuine and unlimited power in Christ Jesus.

I want you to surrender your life to Him, if you have not done so, and He will save your soul from eternal damnation. It’s only then that the power of Jesus Christ from on high can be available to you. If you have done that; continue to serve Him faithfully and the ever-present-power of God will be available to you to do exploits.

Lastly, I want to draw your attention to the words of Jesus Christ in Matthew 19: 26b and see where He said, “with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

Beloved, get connected to Jesus and you will discover that with God all things are possible.
